But every time you guys go out together, he claims he forgot his wallet and asks you to pay the bill. He also constantly borrows little sums from you promising to pay back. Run for your life sis. 3. The flirt If you’re dating a man that has no respect for you and constantly flirts with everything in a skirt, he’s definitely going to c

7 tips for maintaining your kitchen

Below are some tips that can help you keep your kitchen clean on a daily basis with less effort, and likely make you somewhat happier in the process! 1. Get organized. Create a proper space for storing your items. A cluttered, disorganized pantry or cabinet can be overpowering, even though a space that's clean and simple to navigate will motivate you to create nutrient dense meals. Store like items with like items, label everything and plan your own daily and weekly meals around utilizing these things in a timely manner. Make a commitment to gradually acquiring mason jars, storage bins, shelving units, labels, or any other items that can help you to create an area that lets you cook meals easily and economically. 2. Do a little maintenance work once a month on your cookware and knives. Need to wash burnt-on stains and remove rust stains from your stainless steel pots and pans? Perhaps your knives are becoming a little rusty or spotty, and you wish to receive them shiny and ne

Type of soccer cleats

Image
Soccer cleats have a variety of characteristics that should be matched to the playing style and the type of field. The cleats with removable stubs are a versatile option, but the players that only play on one type of field it is worth buying the footwear to match. Here are a few of the soccer cleats available: Firm ground (FG) The firm ground is the most popular option and a practical choice for wearing on an outdoor soccer field. The field should be firm earth and natural grass. The studs give great stability, which is appreciated for giving fast and multi-directional performance. But, the studs can vary. Most of the firm ground cleats have molded studs and either conical or bladed in shape. Firm Ground/Artificial Grass (FG/AG) The firm ground/artificial glass is a type of hybrid cleat that gives great versatility. The artificial grass fields are becoming more common, so it is important to invest in the footwear to match. However, there are still plenty of natural earth fie

Fitness is the key to overall wellness

Image
Fitness is an obvious key to overall wellness. Though it may be surprising to some, fitness is easier than many think. Fitness levels aren't necessarily readily apparent by looking at someone either. I've attended and participated in many races, walks and rides and it's not always the most fit looking individuals that are having a strong finish. So, although you may not feel that you have the typically "fit" body type it doesn't mean you aren't, can't or won't be fit. Cardio fitness is the key! Having a strong, healthy heart is the most important thing on which to focus. If you make having a strong heart your goal, other things like weight loss, stronger muscles, stronger bones and increased lung capacity will naturally follow. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE "FIT"? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), physical fitness is defined as 'the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigor and alertness, without un

Better communication for healthy relationship

Image
Open and honest communication is the key to creating and maintaining healthy relationships. But how is that done? What are the practical tips in doing that? Below are some pointers garnered through research, providing therapy and personal experience. The term "partner" is used, but these tips could be used in various relationships from a family member to a friend. 1. Say Something. If something is bothering you, it is better to speak up than to ignore it. Don't expect your partner to be a mind reader. That often leads to either resentment, or passive aggressive actions (such as saying that nothing is wrong, and then giving the silent treatment, or making snide comments.) To start the conversation you could say "There is something on my mind and I think we should talk about it". 2. Listen. Intently listen to what your partner has to say. Let your partner finish their thought. The fall back position is to try to counter the point, or object by giving altern

Healthy advantage of playing football

Image
Football or soccer as it is been called in different countries, is not only a sport that offers fast-paced excitement to participate in and watch, but also a variety of health advantages. It is a great activity to learn teamwork and benefit players physically and mentally. Here are a few health advantages of playing soccer: Cardio Football is appreciated for its ability to provide a complete cardio workout. An outfield player has the potential to cover nearly 12 kilometers during the 90 minutes of game time. This aerobic type of fitness is great at improving the heart's ability to pump blood throughout the body, while also clearing the arteries from the build-up of plaque. Regular aerobic fitness has many different long-term health benefits such as a healthier working heart, a decrease in systolic blood pressure, and a slower resting heart rate. Muscle tone Football is a type of sport that involves constant movement which leads to increased bone strength and muscle tone.

Nutrition rules for footballers

A well  healthy eating plan is needed to support the lean, energetic and fit footballers. Basic nutrition for the active person should include carbohydrates to give the body fuel and lean proteins to help promote speedy muscle recovery and repair. Also, a balanced diet needs whole grains, seeds, nuts, fruits and vegetables to provide useful vitamins and minerals, while oily fish, olive oil, and avocado can give a useful intake of healthy fats. The training load and match days are certain to have an influence on the food and fluid intake. For instance, a player involved in a long training session can benefit from a diet rich in carbohydrates to not only provide the required fuel, but also to help promote recovery, sustain performance, and reduce fatigue. But, on the rest days with lower energy demands, a diet that contains a lot less carbohydrates is more appropriate. Here are six useful nutrition rules: Cut back on processed foods It is beneficial to restrict the intake of pr

Put an end to bad posture

Image
Bad posture is big problem for many Americans and all people in general because we spend much of our lives in a flexed position. So how to fix bad posture is a major question. To further illustrate what I mean, imagine being curled up in the fetal position. This would be the ultimate flexed position, which is the opposite of good posture. We spend a lot of time texting, on the computer, driving, etc. This all impacts our kinetic chain and we end up with bad posture. It's important to start working on your posture because it will only get worse the older you get. Old people don't develop the hump on their back and start looking like Quasimodo over night. They first develop the bad postures of shoulder protraction and forward head syndrome. To fix bad posture one of the number one methods is to just stand up straight. That's right what your mom has been telling you is the best way overall. If you practice sitting and standing straight all day everyday for 30 days; I

Common mistakes when gymming

Image
1) Having an "All or Nothing" mentality "No Pain, No Gain" "Give it EVERYTHING you've got" "Feel the BURN" "If you're not sore you're not working hard enough" "110% effort all of the time" Some of you might make good progress with this mentality, and some of you might need to think this way to get over plateaus or get you in the gym. But if you consistently live by these quotes, or something similar, you're likely to stall with your lifts, your weight loss/muscle building progress, or will just hate lifting (because most people don't like being sore 24/7). This doesn't mean that you shouldn't ever push hard. There will be days where you'll need to give 110% in the gym. But I'm mainly referring to those who leave the gym and aren't able to sit down, go up stairs, or lift an arm without pain or soreness after every session. You know who you are. It is possible to burn yo

Write correctly

The continued growth of social media sees people of all ages sharing their thoughts and other information. And in most cases those thoughts are unedited: no one checks what finishes up in the public domain. Even the President of the US can get it wrong. While you might reckon that if you've lived long enough you'd know correct from incorrect, but should-have-known-better mistakes continue often 'killing' the main intention and meaning of the message. Grammatical errors can make readers cringe. Consider three of the main standouts - the incorrect use of 'were' for 'we're', 'there' for 'their' or 'they're', and 'your' for 'you're'. And, when the incorrect word is used, not only does it standout like the proverbial sore thumb but also conveys an undesired message about the writer. One of the most inconsistently used punctuation marks is the apostrophe. In contractions, a close relative, an apostroph

Krack wifi flaw: Google and Apple promise security update

Image
Apple and Google have promised software updates to patch a critical flaw in Wi-Fi technology that would allow hackers to steal credit card numbers, passwords and private messages from internet users, while Microsoft says it has already issued an update. The "Krack" vulnerability that emerged on Monday affects potentially every Wi-Fi network in the world and is seen as one of the biggest security scares in years. It sparked a rush of updates from technology companies on Monday, although many had known about it for weeks. Apple said it had developed updates to iOS and MacOS that were in testing and would be released within weeks. Microsoft said an automatic security update issued last week had fixed the problem for Windows 7, 8 and 10 users. Google, which develops the Android software that runs on the majority of smartphones, said it would release a patch on November 6. However, since Android manufacturers have to release their own security updates, it may be months unt

Study: constant dying of hair can lead to breast cancer

Image
According to a recent research, it was found that women who frequently dye their hair are at a greater risk of contracting breast cancer. Professor Kefah Mokbel, a breast cancer surgeon at the Princess Grace Hospital in London, reviewed studies on whether there is any link between hair dyes and breast cancer and it was found that there is 14 percent increase in the disease among women who dye their hair frequently, Sunday Times of London reported. "Although further work is required to confirm our results, our findings suggest that exposure to hair dyes may contribute to breast cancer risk," researchers mentioned. Kefah Mokbel suggested using products with natural ingredients such as beetroot and while limiting the dyeing to only up to five times in a year. In fact, not only hair dyes, chemical relaxers used by women can increase the risk of developing the disease. In a separate study, researchers at Rutgers University found that both cause an alarming increase in the

How to make children be interested in current affairs

Image
Kids these days are least interested in reading and watching the news. All they care about is their video games and mobile phones through which they can chat and play games and do nothing more. It doesn't harm them as kids, but it isn't good for their future. When they reach adulthood, they lack the ability to read current affairs that result in generating a sleepy nation. It creates pressure on you as a parent because it becomes your responsibility to develop their interest in watching and reading news. To help you with this task, here are some unique ideas discussed below. 1. Play Geographic and Political Games Games are a fun way of learning. The effective games such as the World Peace Game challenge to meet political goals in order to maintain peace in the world. This game makes them aware of what is going on in what country and how the problems will be solved. 2. Use the World Map The world map hung on your lounge or room can do more than just decorating. It ca

You can now order food from Facebook

Image
The social-media giant said Friday it is moving to make it easier for people to order food for pick-up or delivery, noting that the process is too complicated. It promises to help save time by bringing existing food-ordering services, including ChowNow, Delivery.com, EatStreet, Olo, Slice and Zuppler, into its app and partnering with some restaurants directly. U.S. Facebook users can order from local restaurants and big chains, such as Chipotle, Denny's, Ell Pollo Loco, Five Guys, Jack in the Box and Panera. "You can browse restaurants nearby by visiting the Order Food section in the Explore menu," said Facebook, which has been testing the service since last year. "On this page, you can browse food options and select Start Order when you've found what you're looking for." Most people who order food already have accounts set up with individual restaurants and delivery apps, however. Facebook will have to persuade them to start the process inside

Game of thrones: producers will do everything to stop leaks from season 8

Image
Game Of Thrones producers are so hell-bent on stopping leaks from season eight, even the cast won’t get scripts. Instead, they’ll apparently be fed lines through ear pieces at the time of filming to prevent the likelihood of any leaks whatsoever. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Cersei’s brother and boyfriend Jaime, revealed even the cast won’t be trusted with the final storylines and will instead go into filming blind. He said they’d be fed their dialogue line by line by ear pieces so that no spoil sports can ruin GOT fans’ fun. It’s also been said that the producers are filming multiple endings so that even the cast won’t know the true ending to the show until it airs. HBO programming president Casey Bloys said said in his Moravian College speech released and first reported by The Morning Call: ‘I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. ‘You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’r

Reasons to hire someone without degree

Image
According to Liz Ryan, here are ten good reasons to hire someone without a four-year degree into a staff professional job: 1. Some people learn best in school, and other people don't. They learn by doing. You will miss out on a huge talent population if you screen out brilliant, capable and hard-working people for whom the classroom is not a good learning environment -- but for whom your plant or office would be. 2. Some people worked through the years other folks were in college. They learned on the job. In contrast, some new graduates from four-year institutions have never worked at all. They have never held a job. Which candidate is going to make a bigger contribution to your organization, sooner? 3. Some folks could not afford college when they were of traditional college age. They might do brilliantly in college later in their lives, but right now they don't have any formal education past high school. Unless your company requires a new hire's four-year degree

Football manager 2018 exciting features

Image
One of the key changes is that you can now pin a smaller version of the tactics window to the side of your screen, meaning that you won't have to constantly swap between menus to check up on what your players have been doing and changing your tactics accordingly. This also comes in to play with new pre-match briefings, where you can go through upcoming strategy and tactics with the team. This means you're able to explain changes that can be made to your typical tactics based on recent performing or upcoming opponents. Here, you're also able to get feedback from the players on your tactical choices before the game actually starts. To give you more options, there's also a new interface for showing weak points in your formation, enhanced by the new dynamics systems in play for this entry to the series. There's new roles on the field, too, like the Mezzala and the Segundo Volante. Also, the player and team instructions have some new options too, giving you more o

Spotify launches a standalone mobile app

Image
Spotify has launched a standalone mobile app specifically to help artists, their managers, and members of their entourage manage the artist’s presence on the music-streaming service. The app which launches today on iOS only, will be followed with an Android incarnation shortly. However, Spotify for Artists was launched back in April as a rebrand of the company’s existing Fan Insights initiative, which was introduced in 2015. Notably, Spotify for Artists ushered in a bunch of new controls that allowed artists to not only gain access to data, but to specifically manage their presence on Spotify. Through the app, artists can update their public profile including biography, picks, and playlists from their phones. They can also view real-time data on the number of listens their new music racks up after it’s released, as well as demographic information that breaks down who is listening to their tunes. Spotify for Artists is the company’s first standalone app and represents part of

Microsoft edge available on google play store

Image
Last week, Microsoft announced that it's bringing its Edge browser to iOS and Android, immediately offering a preview to users of Apple's mobile platform. Apple only allows for 10,000 users to sign up for a beta through TestFlight, but the good news is that Google doesn't have such a limit, and the app is now available on Android. The app doesn't use Microsoft's EdgeHTML rendering engine; instead, it uses Google's Blink engine. The company said that it wants to use the engine that works best for the platform that the browser is working on. After all, the biggest value proposition to having Edge on your mobile phone is a continuous experience across devices, including picking up where you left off on your PC, syncing bookmarks, and so on. The app is still in preview, and more features are coming. Also, it seems to be available globally. Thank you

I want to be a true actor – Jackie chan

Image
The Rush Hour star is known for his action-packed comedy films, but he recently switched gears to show his dramatic talents in new revenge thriller The Foreigner, featuring opposite Pierce Brosnan. Jackie recently attended a premiere for the movie and explained how differently the audience reacted to the project, compared to the laughs he usually receives at such screenings. "I've been doing comedy (for) so long. I remember, when I watched the premiere (for The Foreigner), the whole theatre was quiet," he recalled on U.S. breakfast show. "Mostly, they (fans) watch my movies, they (laugh)... It's so quiet (when they watch The Foreigner), even the action is really tough." It's the kind of movie Jackie had been waiting for to display a different style of acting onscreen. "I wanna change, I want to let the audience know I'm an actor, not an action star," he said. "(An) action star's life is so short. I want to be an actor, (

Pepe Reina: no plan to retire

Image
Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina has insisted that he has no plans to step down from international action with Spain . The 35-year-old won his 37th Spain cap on Monday night as La Roja ended their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign with a 1-0 win in Israel. There have been calls for Reina to stand down from international duty ahead of next summer's tournament, but the former Liverpool stopper has insisted that he will remain available until Spain stop picking him. "I've always carried out the role that I've been given by the national team, I've given the best of myself and I'll keep going here until they stop calling me up," Reina told reporters. Thank you

Samsung to launch a laptop that can recognize in-air gestures

Image
Samsung has filed for a patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office for a new laptop in its Notebook line. The (presumably) high-end machine is said to ship with a force-touch trackpad, in addition to a slew of sensors that can recognize contactless user input. Unlike Windows Hello, however, Notebook users—assuming the technology comes to fruition, of course—will need to position their hands above the trackpad when mimicking a gesture, because the required sensors are embedded in the trackpad panel. Air Gesture isn’t a new concept, Samsung has toyed around with contactless navigation in the past. The Galaxy S4 shipped with a fully-fledged Air Gesture feature, which allowed users to scroll through webpages and accept incoming calls, without even having to touch their device. Thank you

Syria achievement is a miracle says coach

Image
Syria coach Ayman Al Hakim says his team achievement so far has been a miracle in qualifying for the world cup. The country has been gripped by civil war for six years but Syria have defied expectations to keep alive their hopes of a first appearance at the finals. On Tuesday they face Australia in Sydney in the second leg of their play-off, with the tie level at 1-1. “I say to our fans what we have achieved so far is not only an achievement, but a miracle,” said Al Hakim. “We will push with all our force to continue our journey. “Our match with Australia in Sydney is difficult, and although we’ll be missing five players through injuries or suspension, we are used to playing outside of our land.” The prize is a two-legged clash against Concacaf’s fourth-placed team — currently Panama — with the winners qualifying for Russia.

Ways to improve your immune system

Image
10 Natural Ways You Can Improve Your Immunity 1. "Eat healthy." Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Stay away from processed foods because these tend to have been stripped of the naturally occurring nutrients. Vitamins and minerals are usually not stored in the body so you really need to eat foods that are rich in nutrients and trace minerals consistently. Antioxidants are key nutrients in increasing the body's immunity, and especially vitamin C and the full range of B vitamins. 2. Drink alcohol moderately and responsibly. Alcohol weakens your liver and your kidney. When organs are weak, they cannot aid in the fight against infection. Maybe, you should stop drinking it for good health. 3. Stay away from mass amounts of caffeine and nicotine. These are stimulants and too much of these can disrupt your sleep patterns. 4. Get adequate rest and sleep. Most adults need between 7-9 hours of sleep every night. 5. Get adequate amounts of sunlight in order to get Vitam

Reasons for lack of digestion and ways to improve it

Image
Given the important role played by the digestive system in ensuring proper functioning of the human body, every individual must take an interest towards improving digestion. While a good digestive system has a positive impact on the overall functioning of the body, the reverse is equally true. There are several ways in which poor digestion can throw your system out of gear and this in itself should provide sufficient motivation for you to learn how to improve digestion. Poor Digestion - Causes and Effects Digestion is described as being poor if it is slow and this has two-fold implications. Firstly, the body is unable to absorb nutrients from the food in quantities that it should, eventually leading to deficiency within the body. If ignored over a period of time, poor digestion assumes a chronic nature and can le
